About Us

Since February 2013, Bridgeway Accounting has led the way in centralized accounting services for limited to full-service hotels. Our headquarters is based in Alpharetta, Georgia, however, we serve hotels across the United States.


Our team specializes in providing full-service accounting services to hotel owners and operators. With our competitive pricing and all-inclusive services, we offer our clients a profitable alternative to in-house accounting. Our mission at Bridgeway Accounting is to drive profitability to the bottom line by managing hotel accounting processes with efficiency and optimal productivity. Our goal is to identify cost-saving opportunities, as well as to ensure hotels maximize their available resources. 


At Bridgeway, we are passionate about building relationships with our clients. Although we have a strong reputation for providing accounting services, we aspire to do far more than just that. We are always looking for ways to improve our clients’ businesses with our forward-thinking and actionable plans, allowing us to maximize all available resources.

Principle

Rafiq Sabir

Rafiq started Bridgeway Accounting in 2013 as he saw a need for high-quality accounting services and financial consulting that the firm provides today.  He is dedicated to the success of the firm and each of the clients Bridgeway Accounting serves. 


Rafiq has over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. He spent the first 10 years with Hilton Hotels Corporation in Memphis. While in Memphis at the Hilton corporate office, he worked his way through the Focused Service Division in the Hotel Finance Department. During that time in Hotel Finance, he led a team that centralized the accounting operation for focused service hotels located in Latin America.
 
Rafiq then moved to the Brand Finance team, which managed the financial operations of the Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites and Hampton Inn brands. Rafiq holds a Bachelor of Finance degree from Howard University and MBA Intl Business from Fogelman Business School, University of Memphis. 


Today Rafiq resides in Alpharetta, Georgia with his family. He has a love for soccer and enjoys coaching Academy soccer outside the office. He is a die-hard Arsenal fan, but most of all, his heart belongs to his three little girls.

Cindy Dennis

Cindy has over 34 years of hospitality accounting experience. Her knowledge and expertise in the hotel industry provides valuable insights to each hotel property she serves at Bridgeway. Cindy has worked as General Manager, Regional Controller, Director of Finance, VP of Finance for several hotel management groups who specialize in focused and full- service hotel chains such as Hilton, Marriott, IHG brands.


Cindy’s brings expertise in the following areas: Internal Auditing, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Sales and Use Taxes, Income Audit, Payroll and Tax Filings, Forecasting, Monthly Financial Preparations, GAAP and Sox Compliance, Operational Analysis, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Night Audit, and Front Desk.

Lisa Duncan

Lisa has 25 years of accounting experience, 14 of which have been serving the hospitality industry.


She began her career as a staff accountant for Pilot Travel Centers for ten years. In 2007, she joined Kana Hotel Group as Regional Controller for 12 years. She came to work for Bridgeway in 2020 as a staff accountant/controller. She handles the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for several hotels.


Lisa lives in Florida with her husband, daughter, three dogs, a cat, and two parrots.

Heather Partonen, MA

Heather has over 10 years in accounting with a top 20, leading hotel management company, managing nearly 40 hotels and development projects. Using her strengths of relationship building, consistency, communication, and organization, she was able to co-lead a team of Accounts Payable Specialists successfully. She has utilized her effective skills and talents as a consultant for the past two years with the Brand Finance team. Heather holds two Masters; one in Forensic Psychology and one in Counseling Psychology and is able to take that specific skill set and use it advantageously within the accounting field.
